Fellowships and Training in Cancer Research

The Consortium sponsors a number of fellowships and training workshops for cancer researchers, nurses, and scholars from Ireland and Northern Ireland. Interested individuals are encouraged to compete for fellowships or short-term (1-6 weeks) training programs, a portion of which can be conducted at NCI (Bethesda, Maryland U.S.) or at other NCI sites. Some educational opportunities on the island of Ireland are also available to U.S. citizens. To be considered for selection, all applicants must meet the eligibility requirements specified by each program. E-learning opportunities, such as videoconferencing, are also being explored.
